Fatherhood
Fatherhood must be a reflection of the image of God in the life of a father as he raises his children according to God's will.
A godly father reflects the heart of God by leading his children with love, wisdom, and faithfulness. Fatherhood is not merely a responsibility but a divine calling to nurture children in the knowledge of the Lord and to set an example of righteous living. As Scripture teaches:
“Be imitators of God, as beloved children.”
— Ephesians 5:1
A father who walks in obedience to God leaves a lasting legacy for his family:
“The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him!”
— Proverbs 20:7
Through the teaching of the word of God, which leads to a relationship with God, a knowledge of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, prayer, instruction, and loving discipline, a father can help his children discover God's purpose for their lives. In doing so, he reflects the character of the Heavenly Father, whose love, guidance, and faithfulness endure forever.
